Our story begins towards the end of Maddie's Freshman year and Michael's Sophomore year at The University of Minnesota. After hearing Maddie had a crush on him, Michael slid into her DMs, where they eventually decided to meet for the first time at a bar, Sally's Saloon.

Maddie graduates from The Carlson School of Business at The University of Minnesota with her degree in Marketing.

The start of long distance! Due to COVID, Maddie received an extra year of eligibility to play college soccer and pursue her Master's at Duke in North Carolina. Meanwhile, Michael stayed in Minnesota to pursue two Master's degrees at The University of Minnesota.

Michael graduates from The Carlson School of Business at The University of Minnesota with a Master's in HR and an MBA.
After graduate school Maddie lived in Durham, NC with her two friends and Michael lived in Minneapolis, MN. They did one more year of long distance, visiting each other every month.
